Everyday dining
The majority of cruise lines will have their own main dining room where you will sit down to enjoy dinner at a set time, and this is no different on the Celebrity Eclipse®. However, you needn’t stick to those set dining times if you choose to upgrade to Celebrity Select Dining, which allows you greater flexibility – either reserve your table prior to your cruise or just turn up at Moonlight Sonata when you are ready for dinner. The centrepiece is the two-storey wine tower which holds 1800 bottles of wine from around the world.
Innovation
The top table on board is undoubtedly the innovative speciality restaurant Qsine. Taking traditional dishes from around the globe and presenting them in fun and inventive ways is the focus here. On arrival at the restaurant, which can be reserved before you cruise or once you are on board, you will be handed an iPad, on which you will find your menu. Palate pleaser dishes range from sushi lollipops to lava crab and ‘popcorn fish and chips and are designed to be shared, making this one of the most sociable restaurants on board.
Suite Class
Guests in Celebrity Cruises’ new Suite Class now have their own restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, on board the Celebrity Eclipse®. The beautifully designed restaurant Luminae is one of the latest additions to the ship where one-of-a-kind menus feature modern gourmet cuisine, including handcrafted desserts.
Healthy living
Exclusive, intimate and elegant are a few words to describe the speciality restaurant Blu which is both health food restaurant and fine dining venue. Focusing on ‘clean cuisine’ – dishes that are simple, inventive, healthy yet full of flavour – the restaurant is reserved for the exclusive use of those staying in a AquaClass® Stateroom.
Al fresco
There is little better than lunch outside on days when the sun is out and the mercury is rising, and Celebrity Eclipse® does not disappoint when it comes to al fresco dining. Each of Celebrity Cruise’s Solstice Class ships features an acre of real grass on deck 15 – the perfect spot to enjoy a pre-ordered picnic followed by a game of croquet or boules. If you don’t wish to stray too far from the pool at lunch you should head up to the casual Mast Bar & Grill, one of our favourite spots on board.
