There’s a 24-hour fitness centre with a wide range of strength and cardio equipment, including Peloton bikes and courts for basketball, tennis, and pickleball. There’s also a jogging trail around the resort. For relaxation, Mokara Spa offers massages, facials, manicures and salon services, with a choice of spa days alongside individual treatments.

Hop aboard a four-seater surrey bike for a circuit around the resort. Fishing expeditions can be arranged through the hotel, so you can head out to fish for the region’s largemouth bass on a catch-and-release basis.

Children are well accommodated in the rooms here, whether they’re happy to share a bed, camp out on a sofa bed, or whether you’d prefer a connecting room for the benefit of an extra bathroom. There are also suites – look out for some with kitchenettes, particularly handy if you’re travelling with tiny tots.

A kids club, Camp Omni Kids Escape, is available for a per-hour charge. It’s an evening-only service from 5 pm to 10 pm for children aged 5 to 10, allowing parents to enjoy the resort’s restaurants.

On arrival, look out for a weekly schedule of resort activities, which may include kids’ arts and crafts, games, and pizza making. There’s also an arcade with air hockey and driving games.

This golf-focused resort has two championship 18-hole golf courses, the International Course and the National Course, and a lit, nine-hole, par three course perfect for practising. Individual and family lessons are available. There’s also themed Crane’s Adventure Golf near the resort pools for everyone to join in the fun.
