Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

A bells and whistles resort

It’s a stone’s throw from the Walt Disney World boundary, but the space and scale of this mega-resort will make you feel away from it all when you’re craving downtime between your Orlando adventures.

As you step into the cavernous lobby, you’ll be struck by the size of this sprawling resort. This is a well-oiled hospitality machine that happily looks after serious golfers, theme-parking families, and business folk all at once. It’s in the heart of Orlando, but it has a sandy beach on the shore of Lake Windsong where you can hop aboard kayaks, sailing boats, and pedalos by day and sit around glowing firepits by night.

For on-the-go families, there's plenty to do on days off between parks if you don’t want to simply crash out on a sun lounger. The grotto-style pool will have your kids squealing with delight, but this is a resort that goes way beyond an exciting pool. Proper relaxation awaits in the spa, or you can unleash your competitive side on the floodlit tennis courts. But golf fans will be itching for a few hours on the world-class, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf courses.
