Tivoli La Caleta Resort

A seaside oasis bursting with sophisticated spaces

With a sleek new look, reinvented dining scene and island-exclusive spa, this is a slice of modern luxury on the Costa Adeje

With hazy mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, this recently upgraded Costa Adeje hideaway has been designed for enjoying the good things in life. There are celebrity chef-helmed restaurants that cover the ground from Japanese haute cuisine to global comfort food, a trio of heated outdoor pools and Tenerife’s one and only Anantara Spa, where you can completely switch off with one of its signature East-meets-West therapies. Get your body moving with an outdoor yoga session or energetic game of padel or head along the promenade for paragliding lessons from an expert on one of the nearby beaches.

Why we love Tivoli La Caleta Resort

  • The recent makeover has left the Moroccan-influenced rust-red buildings looking as fabulous as the soothingly rustic interiors.

  • There’s a real flair to the cuisine, whether you’re nibbling macarons in the intimate tea room or enjoying Japanese fine dining with a twist.

  • You can rediscover your joie de vivre with signature treatments such as a Himalayan Salt ritual in the island’s first Anantara Spa.

  • It has three heated outdoor pools, including one for adults, and a choice of sandy beaches within comfortable walking distance.

There’s also 24-hour room service if you’d prefer to dine on your balcony.

Anantara brings its irresistible fusion of Eastern and Western healing traditions to Tenerife with the opening of its first spa on the island. Book signature treatments such as a Golfer Massage or revitalising Himalayan Salt ritual or unwind in the indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, ice igloo and steam bath.

The Tivoli Shape fitness centre is open around the clock and is amply stocked with Life Fitness equipment, with expert staff on hand to create personalised wellness programmes. There are group yoga and Pilates classes, and you can also burn off energy on the resort’s padel courts (lessons are available for an extra charge).

Tivoli la Caleta has three heated outdoor pools: two large freeform ones (one freshwater, one seawater) and a smaller, tucked-away adult-only pool with plenty of cushioned loungers for serene siestas.

Various watersports can be arranged with reputable providers; the beaches just to the north are particularly good for paragliding.

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts takes a three-pronged approach to sustainability, from favouring authentic local experiences to reducing its properties’ impact on the environment through waste management, energy-use reduction and more.

The resort offers family-friendly accommodation, relaxed dining venues and child-pleasing beaches and attractions a toddle away. It currently has no kids’ club or children's pool, but there is a babysitting service.
