Days 1-2

Hanoi

There's no better way to get to know a city than with your own private car with local guide. They'll take you to the sights you'd most like to see and make recommendations based on their insider knowledge of Hanoi and insight from a local's perspective. In your own time, head to the narrow streets of the Old Quarter for street food or try a Vietnamese cooking class.

Days 3-4

Halong Bay

Enjoy two nights of cruising in beautiful Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the very best in comfort, style and fine dining during this off-the-beaten-track itinerary which will take you beyond Halong Bay to explore the more secluded shores of its lesser-known bays. Enjoy activities such as t’ai chi, a high tea ceremony, cooking classes and cave exploration.

Day 5

Hanoi

Head back to Hanoi for some relaxation before continuing your journey south.

Days 6-7

Hue

Once Vietnam's capital, Hue is a great city to explore. We've included Hue's Highlights in a Day experience where you'll visit Minh Mang Tomb, the tranquil resting place of the leader of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then on to the towering Thien Mu Pagoda before boarding a traditional dragon boat to head along the Perfume River to visit the walled Citadel and Imperial City. Finish at the historic Dong Ba Market.\n

Days 8-10

Hoi An

Hoi An has a unique heritage and striking blend of French Colonial and Asian architecture and this UNESCO-listed Ancient Town which was once a thriving port. We've included a half day guided walking tour to see the city’s highlights. You’ll visit a traditional house, the Hoi An Museum and Cau Temple before relaxing on a boat trip along Thu Bon river.\n

Days 11-12

Ho Chi Minh City

With a private car and local guide to show you around Ho Chi Minh, this route is totally flexible based on what you want to see. Best of all there's no timetable so you can stop when and where you like. Included is our Mekong Delta Discovery experience where you'll journey to Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta for a cruise on the mighty Mekong River. Watch life on and around the water as you pass floating markets. Navigate a maze of narrow canals and visit a local family. If you'd like to end your holiday relaxing by the beach, we recommend extending your stay with a few nights in Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island.
