Recommended itinerary

Days 1-2

Hanoi

You’ll arrive in Vietnam, where a private transfer will meet you and take you to the city centre for a stay next to the Hanoi Opera House at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi – MGallery. You can venture out to explore the narrow streets of the Old Quarter and savour authentic Vietnamese cuisine like at one of the local eateries. Why not start the day early with a peaceful visit to Hoan Kiem Lake before delving into the capital’s rich culture by exploring key attractions, including the historic Temple of Literature.

Day 3

Halong Bay

Swap the vibrancy of Hanoi for the serenity of Halong Bay, taking a memorable overnight cruise around this sensationally beautiful area on the Bhaya cruise. Witness thousands of limestone islands and islets rise from emerald waters and soak up the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the bay.

Days 4-5

Hanoi

Return to Hanoi for a further two nights at Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi – MGallery. You'll have another full day to explore the city in more depth and try some more local cuisine.

Days 6-9

Danang

It's all about a bit of mid-holiday down time on the white-sand beaches in the lively coastal city of Danang. Spend four nights at TIA Wellness Resort, a minimalist-design-meets-tropical-vibes retreat where days can be ultra relaxed thanks to the all day, served anywhere breakfast.

Day 10

Ho Chi Minh City

You'll go from the beach back to the hubub of the city as you travel to Vietnam's largest metropolis. Stay at Ho Chi Minh City's Caravelle Saigon, a well-placed hotel which acts a great base for exploring. You’ll stay for two nights — just enough time to scratch the surface of this bustling metropolis, that’s deservedly famous for its intriguing history, vibrant culture, and delicious street food. Your centrally situated hotel means Ben Thanh Market and the War Remnants Museum are within walking distance.

Day 11

Mekong River Cruise

Spend a night aboard a stylish sampan to visit a floating market overflowing with colourful fruits and produce and visit a local family who makes traditional Vietnamese noodles.

Day 12

Ho Chi Minh City

Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a further night and perhaps head out to try some local street food and soak up the after-dark atmosphere.

Days 13-17

Phu Quoc

Your holiday concludes in the best way possible: with a few more days of oceanfront relaxation. This time it is the island of Phu Quoc where forests meet tranquil fishing villages or more lively resort areas. Your home for the next four nights at the stylish Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc which has pool villas and a delightful spa.
