Set on a working wine estate dating back to 1692, it was here that the world's first Pinotage was bottled. As you enter the estate along an oak-lined avenue, the manicured vineyards and rolling hills of the Jonkershoek Valley unfold. The Cape Dutch architecture of the white-washed manor house is your entrance to the hotel. Full of old-world charm, the property is filled with antiquities and artwork, preserving the history of the property.
Explore the 155 hectare estate, the working winery and its cellars, relax amongst the gardens or by the pool, or savour gourmet cuisine and fine wines at the restaurant. The Lanzerac Spa offers the perfect retreat, with exclusive signature therapies and full hydro facilities including a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and mist rooms.

Start your day with a visit to the vast breakfast buffet at The Manor Kitchen before exploring the estate or the historic buildings of nearby Stellenbosch. Try some of the local artisanal produce at the Lanzerac Deli or tuck into pub-style meals at the Taphuis before retiring to the Craven lounge for a night cap in front of the fire.

Every Friday and Saturday evening, you can indulge in a seven-course fine dining experience with Lanzerac wine pairings at The Manor Kitchen.
