A conveniently located hotel for exploring the local area and historic landmarks with breathtaking bay view and just 10-minutes from the centre of Sorrento. Set in gardens fragranced with citrus trees, spend long lazy days soaking up the sun by one of the two swimming pools. The rooftop terrace has a small pool with hydro-massage and offers spectacular views across the coastline, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. A second larger pool, also featuring hydro-massage, can be found amid the willow trees and citrus groves in the gardens.

The 120 rooms are simply decorated with Sorrento-style furniture. The interiors are light with pastel shades and each has a balcony with sea or garden views. Even the smallest Double Balcony Room have a marble bathroom. Opt for a Double Balcony Seaview Room for a balcony overlooking the sea.

The à la carte restaurant specialises in both international and Mediterranean cuisine. The setting is traditional with a warm, welcoming ambience and during high season, the hotel hosts a weekly traditional Sorrento evening meal with live music. There are two bars offering refreshing drinks during the day and aperitifs at dusk.

L’Altea and La Camelia The à la carte restaurant serves international and Mediterranean dishes. The home-made ice creams are worth a try.

The Garden Snack Bar and Grill Set amongst the gardens enjoy light lunches, snacks and drinks.

The Hibiscus Bar Set on the roof terrace with fantastic views of the Gulf of Naples.

La Magnolia Bar Located in the main lobby, La Magnolia offers cool drinks, garden views and occasional cocktail parties.

The setting at L'Altea and La Camelia is traditional with a warm, welcoming ambience. The Mediterranean dishes served here are bursting with local flavours.

Grand Hotel De La Ville is perfectly positioned for excursions to the famous archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the island of Capri and Mount Vesuvius.

The main swimming pool is set on the roof terrace and has a temperature-controlled whirlpool. During the summer months, there is a second pool set amongst the garden.
