Days 1-3

Kandalama

After touching down in Colombo, a driver will meet you and take you to Heritance Kandalama, an 85-mile journey northeast of the city. Your driver will be at your disposal for the next eight days, taking you to the locations and sights you’ll visit over the first part of your trip. You’ll have four nights in Kandalama, the perfect base for visiting the temple caves at Dambulla and Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Days 3-5

Kandy

Kandy, Sri Lanka’s second largest city is famed for not only its history and temples, but also for its tea, scenery and botanical gardens.

Days 5-7

Nuwara Eliya

For a quieter pace of life, Nuwara Eliya gives you that same tea plantation setting, but away from bustling city life. Here, everything is picturesque and relatively peaceful, providing the perfect spot for relaxation.

Days 7-15

Negombo

Make the journey down to the west coast. You'll spend a week down on the beach at Hertiance Negombo, where you can relax poolside or even take a city tour of Colombo to get to know the urban side of the nation before you head home.
