The 70 rooms are set in two-storey buildings and furnished simply but stylishly with wood, rattan and a largely monochrome colour scheme. Couple Standard Rooms are tucked away in the gardens. In the Couple Standard Beachfacing Rooms, you can hear the waves lapping the shore while spacious Couple Deluxe Beachfront Rooms offer stunning lagoon views.

The glorious views of the lagoon from the balconies of the Couple Deluxe Beachfront Rooms are well worth the extra expense.

There are three restaurants for dinner, plus a street-food truck for lunch and tea, a bar and a self-service tea bar to keep things interesting.

La Pointe aux Piments
The main restaurant overlooks the sea and offers a buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring local and international cuisines.

L’Océan
This à la carte restaurant is open for candlelit dinners on the sand and a menu of seafood dishes with a Mauritian flavour.

Kot Nou
Kot Nou, which is open for dinner three nights a week, specialises in updated traditionally Mauritian dishes served tapas-style. Pre-booking is required.

Taba-J
Attitude’s signature street-food truck is the place to come for authentic local lunches and snacks, followed by sweet treats later in the afternoon.

La Sirène
The deck of the open-fronted bar is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning sunset with an icy rum cocktail in hand.

Teabaz
Settle down with a glass (upcycled, of course) of scented tea or a fruity infusion at the charming tea bar.

Indulge yourself by booking a table for beachside restaurant L’Océan’s once-a-week lobster nights.

The intimate Spa POZ* has three treatment rooms where you can be massaged to a state of utter relaxation using all-natural, vegan products, made for Attitude by a local company that shares its eco-friendly ethos, which smell amazing.

The small fitness centre has a stationary bike, rowing machine, treadmill and dumbbells. If you’d rather get moving in the open air, you can hire bicycles to explore the local area.

There is a PADI diving centre nearby offering courses and diving trips.

Like all of the Attitude Hotels, it is certified Travelife Gold and part of the group’s Positive Impact movement. The air conditioning cuts off automatically when the doors and windows are opened. As many supplies as possible, from food to shampoo, are sourced from local farms and eco-minded companies. You won’t find any single-use plastics in your room – instead there are refillable glass jars for coffee, snacks and so on.

At the Boat House, there are masks and snorkels, pedal boats and kayaks for exploring the lagoon.

Guests over 18 years are welcome at this resort.
