Immerse in Coorg's coffee plantations
Evolve Back, Coorg: coffee and spice and all things nice.
Set within 300-acres of a coffee plantation, Evolve Back has managed to retain a sophisticated feel in the idyllic but wild countryside. Spend days riding down the forest-fringed river on a traditional coracle fishing boat and explore the coffee plantation in 4x4 vehicles and on guided walks. There's an interesting museum that shows how coffee is produced from seed to cup. To unwind, you can rejuvenate by the infinity pool that seems to drift into the river or relax in the revitalising Ayurveda spa.

Facilities
There are three restaurants to choose from. The Granary offers plenty of international dishes whilst Peppercorn focuses on kebabs and grills. Plantain Leaf is the fine dining vegetarian restaurant. In addition, there are a number of private dining destinations including moonlit dinners at the pool and five-course dinners overlooking the lake.

Overlooking the lake, Peppercorn serves platters of kebabs and grills.
Plantain Leaf
Overlooking the plantation, there are plenty of northern and southern Indian vegetarian specialties here.
There are plenty of locations for private dining like the traditional Machan – resembling the local thatched watchtowers you find in the paddy fields to keep the birds and elephants away. There's one overlooking the lake where you can enjoy a private lunch or dinner with a private chef.
The spa specialises in Ayurvedic treatments.
Take a 4×4 into the middle of the coffee plantation for a picnic, explore the Worker’s Trail where you can join the plantation workers. Learn about the history of coffee with a visit to the Sidapur Coffee and Culture Museum. There are also rides on circular coracle boats used originally for fishing and transport for the villagers.
The local community is supported through employment and they have built a school to provide free education to children.
