The Rohet House is a 400-year-old ancestral home in Jodhpur that has been converted into a luxury boutique hotel.
Thakurani Rashmi Singh, was the mastermind behind the property’s urban Rajasthan design, which has a very modern, arty feel with intricate hand-painted murals and motifs. The house, surrounded by tropical gardens filled with flowers, is set in an affluent neighbourhood of Jodhpur, Ratanada.
Each of the rooms has a sense of privacy and luxury. There's a 50-foot pool and a veranda where you can have a drink or meal. If the owners are at the property, they often ask guests to join them for a drink as they tell them about the history of the house through the manyu photos that adorn the walls.

Dominated by the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur has plenty to offer the visitor. Wander through the old town of the 'blue city' and see the produce at the local Sardar Market. For a more personal experience, your hosts are happy to arrange visits to temples to watch morning prayers or to take you to try some street food for breakfast.
Rohet House is committed to sustainability and corporate responsibility. They have installed solar water heaters and help the local community by supporting a non-profit organisation that funds medical care.
