A beautiful, stylish, oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. A soothing courtyard greets you on entering and the quality is maintained throughout the lounge, corridors and common areas, including the spectacular views from the roof top bar. The dining area, both open and indoors, is accessed via a glorious decent-sized outdoor swimming pool with adjacent lawn, pot plants and pool-side bar. The food was outstandingly good, with a wide selection of Indian as well as international cuisine. Staff were attentive and discrete, providing a first-class service at all times. For a relaxing and comfortable stay in this fascinating city, the Samode Haveli is a great base.

What a wonderful hotel! After driving through the hustle and bustle of the streets of Jaipur, we arrived at this secluded haven. Full to the brim with authentic architecture, decor and furniture, this hotel is exceptionally unique. The staff, especially Prateek, were excellent, the room spacious and beautifully appointed, the restaurant set in a beautiful courtyard and the food choices were plentiful. Breakfast was wonderful: a super selection and the colonial buffet area was spectacular! The pool and changing rooms, alongside the numerous little pools, fountains and courtyards just added to our whole, wonderful immersion into 'the past'! I would 100% recommendation this hotel if you are tired of 'vanilla'!

When we pulled into the gates I had no idea of what was beyond there! What a gem of a hotel, such a gorgeous building and styled beautifully! We were lucky to be upgraded to a suite with the most amazing bathroom. The hotels courtyards were exquisite and of the 9 places we visited across India this hotel was my favourite. The pool was lovely and felt like an oasis of calm, the restaurant wonderful with the beautiful lights and banyan tree, one of the best breakfasts we had. The rooftop bar was another bonus, enjoying drinks whilst watching kites flying round and listening to the hustle and bustle of Jaipur-it truly felt here we were in India such vibrancy! It’s on my list to come back here as it was so much more than I expected! If I could give 6 stars I would!!!!
