Bandhav Vilas, Bandhavgarh National Park

Wild and wonderful

Bandhav Vilas is a wonderful resort for wildlife enthusiasts due to its close proximity to Bandhavgarh National Park, home to the royal Bengal tiger.

Surrounded by the Vindhya Hills, Bandhav Vilas blends into its natural landscape. Early morning and afternoon Jeep safaris with naturalist guides go in search of this elusive big cat. The park is divided into six zones, each with different landscapes and a diversity of flora and fauna. Between safaris, the guides share their passion for nature with presentations on the wildlife of the area. The resort has a large swimming pool, massage and meditation rooms. Bandhav Vilas discreet service includes an aromatherapy service when the beds are turned down, the perfect way to unwind after the thrill of a jungle safari.

Why we love Bandhav Vilas, Bandhavgarh National Park

  • The jungle has a lot more to offer other than just tigers, there are resident sloth bears, wild dogs and elephants

  • The guides are locals whose childhoods were shaped in the forest and understand animal behaviour

  • The spacious villas are 1,000 square feet in size

  • When the property was being built, seed bombs were thrown around the barren land, resulting now in lush vegetation

Bandhav Vilas is located close to Bandhavgarh National Park
It is a 4-hour drive from Jabalpur Airport and 5-hours 30-minutes from Khajuraho Airport. The nearest railway station is at Umaria, a journey time of 1 hour
