The luxuriously laid-back Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotel goes beyond being family-friendly; it’s been designed for families, with plenty of options for time together and enough children’s activities for you to be able to nip off to the Natur Spa or enjoy mealtimes for two. As well as outdoor playgrounds dotted around the resort and a fab kids’ club – the youngest guests can enjoy games and toys, while teens can go surfing, cycling and horse riding. Activities out on the water range from stand-up paddle boarding to kayaking and sailing, while on land there’s rock climbing, cycling and hiking.

Facilities
Food at the hotel focuses on fresh Portuguese ingredients and perfectly presented dishes are served up in an informal atmosphere at the two restaurants and one bar. All of the restaurants and bars are family friendly, with kids’ menus on offer. Story is an elegant restaurant at the heart of the hotel and it serves up hearty buffet breakfasts and Italian fare in the evening, while the Drop Bar offers light bites by day and signature cocktails by night. Over at the golf course's Club House restaurant, there's a variety of dishes available from sandwiches to more hearty fare.

Visit the Tropical Botanical Gardens in Belem, play out fairy-tale fantasies at Lisbon’s São Jorge Castle or explore the coastline on a guided bike tour.
At Cascais there are a range of watersports available including stand-up paddleboarding, sailing and sunset cruises.
Dreamarine is the hotel's kids' club. Set in a submarine, there are different sensory zones and rooms for games and crafts. There's a schedule of events for 2 to 12 year olds where they can draw cartoons, take part in talent shows, watch movies and keep fit with a kids yoga session.
The 18-hole, Robert Trent Jones-designed course is a natural beauty with a setting between the Atlantic and the Sintra Mountains. Some of the 18 holes are a challenge, as you have to thread your ball between pine trees and avoid imposing bunkers; make sure to enjoy the sea views on hole three.
