Set in 570 acres of olive groves and countryside on Sicily’s southwest coast, Verdura Resort was sensitively created using local materials and influenced by traditional architecture. Rooms
203 rooms are designed in fresh Sicilian style, feature a four-poster bed and you’ll always have an unrestricted sea view. Deluxe Rooms are on the first floor and have a balcony you can sit out on to take in the sea views. The Superior Deluxe Rooms are on the ground floor, while the Superior Deluxe Seafront Rooms are closer to the sea and feature a terrace. For more space, opt for a Junior Suite with sitting area or a Classic Suite with plenty of outdoor space. Or splash out on a Grand Suite for the luxury of a courtyard, living room and kitchenette. There are also family options - the spacious Family Room and the Family Suite which is made up of a Grand Suite and a Superior Deluxe Beachfront Room.

There are four restaurants and two bars to keep the dining options varied. At Zagara, celebrity chef Fulvio Pierangelini showcases the best of Mediterranean cuisine, while at beachfront Amare, the chefs barbecue the freshest fish, seafood and meats right in front of you. Head to Granita to try the Sicilian mojito made from dark rum, local mint and plenty of freshly picked citrus.

A casual restaurant serving a breakfast buffet with plenty of freshly baked pastries and local meats and cheeses.
La Zagara
Fine dining à la carte restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine, open for dinner.
Liolà
Seasonal trattoria and pizzeria with a sea view terrace serving home made pasta, seafood and tempting ice creams, open for lunch and dinner.
Amare
Located on the beach serving salads, barbecued dishes, fresh fish and pizza for dinner.
Granita
The resort's main bar with a wonderful large terrace and stunning sea views offering tapas and cocktails.

The award-winning spa is set in tranquil olive groves with 11 treatment rooms, a Hamman, four thalassotherapy pools and an indoor heated lap pool. There’s also a full fitness centre and wellness and lifestyle programmes.
Learn the art of Sicilian cuisine with a cookery lesson, explore the many hiking trails from the resort, put on your dancing shoes for a salsa class or visit the latest art exhibitions at the Farm Cultural Park.
Visit the Water Sports Club where windsurfing, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, flyboarding and kitesurfing are just some of the activities on offer. For something more leisurely, take a boat tour of Torre Salsa Nature Reserve.
Verdura Resort has made a range of sustainably minded choices, including how the resort is powered, the use of water and how waste is disposed of.
Carefully designed to be an ultra-appealing option for families, there’s an excellent kids' club complemented by impressive themed programmes and family activities.
Golfers are spoilt for choice. There are three championship 18-hole golf courses, a 9-hole course, putting greens and a driving range to keep you busy, plus a Clubhouse with a golf shop and restaurant.
