Bellevue Hotel Losinj

Recapture your vitality

A luxury spin on the traditional Lošinj wellness hotel, smack-bang on Čikat Bay.

Bellevue Hotel Lošinj peeks out from a lush forested grove, with only spindly pines interrupting the views of Čikat Bay. Although originally opened in 1967, it underwent a complete makeover in 2014. All clean lines and cubist shapes, this shiny abode is a contemporary addition to the Lošinj hotel scene. The design effectively blurs interior and exterior: communal spaces are flooded with natural light, floor-to-ceiling windows frame forest views, and a central glass-walled atrium is filled with orange and lemon trees.

Why we love Bellevue Hotel Losinj

  • There are stunning views over the bay and the dense forest at almost every turn, including from many of the rooms

  • You can kick back with a rejuvenating spa treatment and dip in the seawater pools or book the Secret Spa for a private retreat

  • Its stylish dining options include a Japanese-Mediterranean fusion restaurant that holds a Michelin plate

  • A stone staircase leads to the coastal promenade and private beach where smooth rock slabs are topped by loungers

At Bava, the breakfast is worth getting up for, with everything from Dalmatian prosciutto, regional cheeses and smoked salmon to fresh breads, homemade honey and seasonal fruit, while dinner draws upon the bounty of the land to sea for a real back-to-roots feel. Watch the theatrical performances from the chefs at Matsunoki where Japanese dishes using Mediterranean ingredients are the order of the day. Whether you are in the lounge, at the beach or poolside, there are bars to keep you refreshed.

Matsunoki
Where chefs rustle up sizzling Japanese-fusion plates in the open kitchen. Don’t miss the matcha ice cream with a sweet paste made of adzuki beans.

Bava
Here creative dishes are rustled up using ingredients from Lošinj and further afield in Croatia, all flavoured with herbs from the hotel’s kitchen-garden.

Alto Rosso Lounge Bar
Serving light snacks and drinks overlooking the sea.

Azzur Pool Bar
For lounger-side drinks and snacks, beneath the shade of the pine trees.

Beach Bar Meridien
A cove-hugging gem serving cocktails, fresh juices, sweet and savoury snacks.

We love the setting of Beach Bar Meridien. Nestled in the cove of Čikat, surrounded by fragrant centuries old pine trees, it's a great spot for ice cream, cake or cocktails.
