Nantipa is a beautiful bolthole that’s hidden in the palms on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.

The shades of the sky and sea come together at Nantipa (the ancestral Chorotegan word for blue), which is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This jungle-meets-Pacific haven is something of a hidden gem, where days are spent barefoot as you relax on the beach or by the pool, out on adventurous explorations or just chilling in nearby Santa Teresa: a remote yet hip town favoured by expats where you could be rubbing shoulders with an A-lister or two.
