When it comes to dining, The Sandpiper Hotel doesn’t disappoint. Offering both laid-back and luxury options, there’s something to fit the occasion. The Restaurant is the hotel’s swanky eatery, serving up delicious dishes in an idyllic setting. With an ever-changing menu, there’s always something different to try. On Wednesday nights, you can tuck into an international buffet, whilst Sunday night is barbeque night with the finest meats straight from the grill. If you fancy a more authentic laid-back experience, Harold’s awaits with its casual beachside setting. Dine alfresco or sip cocktails overlooking the glistening waters. You can also arrange a private beach dinner – the perfect spot for a romantic engagement.

The Restaurant
Serving up the finest quality foods in a picture-perfect setting. Experience a fusion of flavours from all over the world with a dinner menu that changes 5 days a week. Reservations are possible and an ‘elegantly casual’ dress code applies.

Harold’s
A laid-back option for lunches, dinners and drinks. With a beachside setting, you can enjoy ocean vistas whilst you eat.

Breakfast at The Restaurant

Head over to The Sandpiper’s sister hotel Coral Reef Barbados via complimentary luxury transfer to revel in the tranquil atmosphere of the spa. Alongside a menu of mind and body melting treatments, there’s an outdoor hydropool where you can experience the healing powers of water, and shady cabanas that make the ideal place to drift to when feeling totally zen post therapy. The thermal suite has a stream room and experience shower.

Head down to the sands to take part in the included non-motorised watersports; they have the kit for Hobie cate and Laser sailing, snorkeliing, kayaking and paddleboarding. A few adrenaline-inducing motorised watersports can be arranged on site at an extra cost, as can diving trips and Naui and PADI-accredited courses from the Coral Reef Barbados’ dive school.

The Sandpiper is a laid-back hotel for families who are looking for some low-key time together. They have thought of the little things here with children’s room service available between 5.30pm and 9.30pm which can be served on your private terrace or at the Restaurant Terrace (before 7pm); all you need to do is arrange it with the maitre d’ by midday that day.

If you have a special occasion planned, babysitting is available and you don’t need to travel with everything plus the kitchen sink as they have a selection of baby equipment available on request on a first come first served basis. Between the early summer months and late August (call for specific dates), there’s a specially designed family programme for kids aged between two and 12 years which includes sailing trips and swimming lessons.
