Day 1

Luang Prabang

Day 2

Luang Prabang

The first stop in Laos is Wat Xieng Thong, a 16th-Century Buddhist temple with intricate carvings, mosaics and statues. A trio of temple visits follows as you head to Wat Visoun, Wat Aham and Wat Mai. After lunch, visit the early 20th-Century Royal Palace on the bank of the Mekong River which is home to the National Museum. Day 3

Luang Prabang

Depart from a riverside pier and cruise on a traditional long boat to the Pak Ou Caves, stopping at a waterfront village. After lunch, it’s time to explore the caves. This incredible limestone cavern system is split into two areas: Tham Ting and Tham Theung, both filled with thousands of statues and images of Buddha, left by pilgrims across centuries. Day 4

Luang Prabang
