Mountainview Suites are located on the upper floor of the main building and have a balcony that looks out over the infinity pool and towards the mountains. Named after the trees of Oman's highlands, Juniper Restaurant offers incredible mountain views and delicious Arabic cuisine. Light snacks and drinks are served at Rose Lounge, also a magical spot for catching the sunset over the mountains.

The peaceful Spa Alila reflects the resort’s contemporary/traditional ambience with rustic Omani touches in the design, treatments inspired by ancient Asian healing techniques administered by local therapists and state of the art facilities. Set around charming courtyards are seven treatment rooms, a Vichy shower room, a steam room and a number of Jacuzzis.
Trek across this beautiful landscape, hike to the Lost Village of Al Khutaymi, explore the Al Hoota Cave, take a thrilling mountain bike ride or learn about the night sky on a private stargazing session.
Even though the hotel only opened in May 2014 it has already been winning awards for its eco-credentials and sustainability. Using local materials and designed to blend in with the natural environment, this resort has minimal impact on the surrounding landscape.
