Victoria Falls River Lodge has a prime position on the Zambezi River. It's a great base from which to explore the Falls, the lodge is also the perfect place to just sit back and bask in the tranquil river surroundings. Unwind with a treatment in the Toa Spa, indulge in the infinity pool or head out on a serene river cruise along the Zambezi River as the sun starts to dip towards the horizon.
Victoria Falls Island Lodge is a private island in the Zambezi River that's reached by boat from the mainland. It's perfect for guests looking for an ultra-exclusive experience. Six adults-only Island Treehouse Suites are perched above the river and come with a private pool and butler service, while two double-storey Starbed Treehouses also have an open-air treetop deck with a beautiful four-poster 'starbed'. The treehouses are connected to the island's private lounge, sunset bar and restaurant via wooden walkways.

Facilities
After a long day in the African sun, the riverside bar is the ideal place to recharge with a tasty sundowner in front of a panoramic river setting. Once refreshed, head to the open-plan dining area, which sits just metres from the water's edge. Decorated with a charming African elegance, the restaurant is renowned for its stunning views and delicious menu of traditional Zimbabwean cuisine.

The lodge offers game drives into the park, or you can explore on foot on a guided walking safari. Cutting through the mopane forests and along the riverine trails you may encounter elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and zebra. Sunrise and sunset cruises on the Zambezi provide another opportunity to look for wildlife. Experienced guides will take you on a tour of Victoria Falls, giving an insight into the powers of nature and ensuring you get the best photo opportunities of the Falls.
Giving back to the community is important to the lodge and as they are in the National Park they have built a pre-school for the park’s staff. They also pay the living costs and salaries of some of the scouts working in the park’s anti-poaching units.
